Release Notes for truMarket – August 28, 2024
We are excited to announce several new features and enhancements for truMarket, designed to improve user experience and streamline workflows for brokers.
New Dashboard
- Overview Page: We’ve introduced a new landing page, called the Dashboard, providing a comprehensive summary of all activities and requests assigned to the user. This includes a “My Requests” tab for easy access to assigned tasks and a “Follow-Up Activities” tab to track reminders and task status.
- Quick Actions: Users can now add clients and requests directly from the Dashboard, and a refresh button has been added for real-time updates without reloading the entire page. Upcoming updates will enable automatic refreshes for new requests.
- Task Management: The “Follow-Up Activities” section allows users to mark tasks as completed or update the status directly from the Dashboard, making task management more efficient.
Request Reassignment
- Reassignment Functionality: Users can now reassign requests directly from the Requests page without entering the request itself. Simply type the new assignee’s name to transfer tasks.
- User Presence Indicators: Avatars now feature green check marks to indicate if a user is online or offline. Users can manually adjust their status to avoid receiving new requests while still working.
Distribution Queues
- Automated Assignment: We’ve added the ability for admins and managers to create Distribution Queues, allowing for automatic task assignment based on predefined criteria. This feature supports three distribution methods:
- Round Robin: Tasks are distributed evenly in a circular order.
- Weighted Load: Assignments are based on task complexity and workload, favoring brokers with fewer high-priority tasks.
- Count Load: Assignments are based purely on the number of tasks each broker has.
- Custom Distribution: Distribution can be tailored by request type, status, and assigned teams or users. Additionally, a maximum load can be set for users to ensure tasks are evenly distributed.
- Idle Queue: Unassigned tasks will remain in a queue if the maximum load is reached, ensuring no one is overburdened.
Follow-Up Activities
- Task Creation: When recording activities, users can now assign due dates and designate the task owner. These tasks will appear in the “Follow-Up Activities” section of the Dashboard.
- Progress Tracking: Tasks can be marked as “in progress” or “completed,” and upcoming tasks are highlighted to prevent missing deadlines.
Other Improvements
- Online Status Timeout: Users will be automatically logged out after a certain period of inactivity to ensure that their online status reflects their actual availability. This is configured globally across all Trufla products.
- Enhanced Validations: We’ve added validation checks to prevent overlapping distribution queues, ensuring that no two queues share the same criteria and creating more efficient task distribution.
These new features are designed to help brokers manage their workflows more effectively and ensure timely task completion.
